We are delighted to forward to you, as a member or friend of BSF, a link on YouTube to an outstanding video by one of our BSF members, Rich Bonn. Thank you Rich for your expertise and dedication to this project. It provides an excellent synopsis of a very special bonsai event that took place during Memorial Day Weekend. We hope that you enjoy the video, and that you book mark next Memorial Day Weekend for the 2018 BSF Convention, again in Orlando.
Click this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56L5OLleikg) to access the YouTube link.
Feel free to share this link with friends or others who might enjoy it. Our intent is to spread the good word about bonsai as far and as wide as we can. While the video provides snapshots of various Convention events, you have a final opportunity to order our acclaimed commemorative book of professional portraits of all the Exhibit trees in the 2017 ABS/BSF Convention.
Click this (https://forms.lvlup.today/form/2017-bsf-book) to order New World Bonsai 2017. Order sooner rather than later so you can have your own book before we sell out.
Mr. Jeremiah Pearce sent us this email about Basic Fertilizers a few weeks ago. It describes comparisons of three different fertilizers. As a reminder, Martha Goff is our local supplier of fertilizers and her products can be seen at http://www.tropicalgreenbonsai.com/category_index.asp.
Here is the body of Mr. Pearce’s email: Good Day, My name is Jeramiah Pearce and I live in Minnesota. I have typed up an article going over the different aspects of fertilizers. I also include a comparison of three different fertilizers that people use to feed their bonsai. In full disclosure, I did create and I do sell a fertilizer product named Sumo Cakes. I would like to share the article with you in hopes of you finding it useful enough to share with your members, either on your website, your newsletter or magazine. I do have it in .pdf format as well as on my two websites. It can be found at https://www.sumocakes.com/fertilizer-information/ as well as http://www.mnbonsainetwork.com/bonsai-basics/bonsai-fertilizer/ If you find the article to be useful for your members you can download the PDF at http://www.sumocakes.com/Bonsai-Fertilizer-Basics.pdf
Thank you for the consideration.

See this unusual and intricate art of Shoushan stone work in Fuzhou, China – the only place that it really exists. http://www.stevewdesign.com/#.WDMLIu8v9TM.emai Shoushan is based on a type of alabaster with unusual colored properties, and excavated from a particular mountain in the region. According to China Daily, the stone is created from ancient lava, and has strange properties of embedded colors and transparency. A friend of mine sent me this link of the “12 Most Beautiful Bonsai Trees”. I know you will enjoy this.
