This is from a post by Martha Goff this morning: “I just wanted to let everyone know that my friend, Ginny Boka, passed away at 4:10 this morning. She was 93 years young. She was not alone. Her beloved daughter-in-law was with her. She was smiling and just closed her eyes and moved on. Not only was Ginny my friend she was also one of my first bonsai mentors. Her years of dedication to her club and her bonsai will be remembered by many around the state of Florida. I will miss her with all my heart but I have a store of wonderful memories. Thank you Ginny for being a part of my life.“
For those of you who knew Ginny you understand what she has meant to all of us in our club. For those of you who did not know her, just understand that she founded our club and mentored most of us. She was a kind lady with the energy of a lioness…a very memorable person!
