Just a couple of reminders for the upcoming meeting:
1. Don’t forget to bring your wire scraps.
2. Don’t forget to bring any plant material that you want to donate to the raffle table at state convention. We have plenty of pots and books, but we need a few more plants that look like good potential bonsai. Nothing too large though.

By the way, some of you have responded to my previous emails. You have either brought the plants to my house or you say you will bring them to the meeting on the 16th. Thank you.

I, again, encourage each of you to attend the state convention, even if it is only for a day. It is absolutely wonderful. They have a special this year where you can take a 3-hour class for $55 without registering for state. You get the plant, repotting, and styling of the tree. I will have some flyers at the meeting.

Anyone else, who is attending state convention and would like to help with the Friday raffle, let me know. If you want to participate in the club night activity let John Bartolozzi know at the meeting. If you are attending convention and want to add your shohin bonsai to the display, I think we have room for a couple more. You must bring the tree to the meeting and see Richard Owens. Remember, it must all blend together.
