This month’s newsletter is a little scant due to the ongoing pandemic, but on the bright side you have more time to appreciate and work on your trees! At least you can get close to them without any worries!
This month’s newsletter is a little scant due to the ongoing pandemic, but on the bright side you have more time to appreciate and work on your trees! At least you can get close to them without any worries!
This issue of the Newsletter describes the 2020 Monthly Programs, other club meeting notes, and an extensive discussion by Jim Bremer on how to “Clip and Grow”. Before wire was used in styling trees, this was the prevalent method.
In the February Newsletter we discuss the 2020 programs, notes and minutes from the January club meeting, a great contribution from Phil Krieg about Fukinagashi…the Windswept style, and a schedule for Wigert’s Nursery
In this issue we discuss the 2020 Programs, an interesting discussion entitled “The Story of a Tree”, the results of the Judging of the 38th Annual Show of 2019, upcoming events at Wigert’s Bonsai Nursery, and a Bonsai Glossary.
This newsletter mentions that at the next meeting on Nov 16th we will have a presentation of Penjing by Mike Lane. We will also hold the officer elections for 2020. Much of this meeting will be to work out details and assignments for the Annual Show which will be the NEXT WEEKEND!. All help appreciated!
This month’s newsletter has many facets: The 2019 Programs, Events at Wigert’s Bonsai Nursery, and “The Process of Creating Bonsai” by Martha Goff. There is also a brief description of “Bonsai Terms”.
