This edition of the Bonsai Clipper outlines the events for 2017.
This edition of the Bonsai Clipper outlines the events for 2017.
This newsletter discusses the details of our next meeting on Saturday, August 20, a visit by Sergio Luciani on September 13, our upcoming annual Bonsai Show and Sale on November 5 and 6, a special event with Pedro Morales on August 27 in Tampa, FL and in-depth article on Bonsai photography by Sam Ogranaja.
Here is the Bonsai Newsletter for June 2016. Phil Krieg has come up with a new format that is full of information about our upcoming 2016 Exhibit plans, comments about our growing Library, and notes from our latest club meeting. Phil has also passed on an article by Mary Miller who writes about “How is your Wiring” with a link to Colin Lewis’ website on wiring essentials. On Page 3 is an outline of what we will be doing at the next meeting on Saturday July 16, and concludes with an announcement about the Clearwater, FL auction on August 27th. We are proud that Phil has made such an effort!
The next part of the program is, hopefully, very exciting. All the Chrysanthemums are
SUPPOSED to arrive the first of that week. I will bring them, the pots, the soil and care
instructions. Sue will bring us some grafting tape to bind the plants. All we will do this
meeting is get the plants bound and potted and go over the care instructions. You will
take them home and give them the needed attention. The first step with a plant species
is to keep it healthy and strong. At our June meeting we will see how the plants are
doing and hopefully, move on to the next step of wiring. HERE’S TO A SUCCESSFUL
NEW ADVENTURE.
