About Our Society

The Bonsai Society of Southwest Florida was founded in Ft. Myers, FL in 1978.

Our Mailing Address is: Bonsai Society of Southwest Florida, P.O. Box 61945, Fort Myers, FL 33906-1945

We meet at 9AM on the third Saturday of each month at the Berne Davis Gardens at 2166 Virginia Ave. This location is just north of the Edison-Ford Winter Estates (on McGregor Bl., Fort Myers, FL.)

For more information, call (239) 935-6850. Please leave a message if we don't answer.

Our club is involved in numerous activities during the year. We have an annual show open to the public, participate in Home and Garden shows, enter the annual Strolling Flower Show, do demonstrations for groups in the area, go on various field trips, and have visiting speakers from around the world.

We encourage everyone to share their photos of their trees and travels around the world.

We in Southwest Florida have the distinct advantage that our tropical climate offers a year round opportunity to work with a wide variety of trees.

We welcome anyone interested in this ancient art form to take advantage of our many experienced artists and teachers.
