The Daiza is a carved wooden base\, custom-made to accommodate and enhance a stone. It helps stabilize it in a chosen orientation to reveal its potential.  Suiseki\, in traditional Japanese culture\,(水石)\, are small naturally occurring or shaped rocks which are appreciated for their aesthetic or decorative value.  As always\, we encourage you to bring with you any tree that you might be working on\, and one of our many Bonsai experts will be happy to help you.
