(Please be advised that our meeting will be held (this time only) at our previous location at 6281 Metro Plantation, Fort Myers, FL.). This is a great tree to work on -- both for the experienced and the novice. The leaves are small, and can be reduced further, and resemble ivy. Gmelina -- pronounced melina, the 'g' is silent -- is also called Parrot's Beak. The trees for this workshop are pre-bonsai from Wigert's Bonsai, with good trunks. sj

Wonderful material that all will enjoy. Aggressive growers with almost no pest or disease problems. Suitable for all styles.
